About.

I am an exquisite piece of interpretive artwork. I’m rather agreeable, sarcastic, introverted, sassy, and candid. I believe people should live genuinely. And if they can’t then they should at least be willing to figure out why.  There’s no sense in living perpetually in denial.

I love my Jesus. The beauty and life of Liturgy. Hearing people’s stories. Toting around a camera and taking pictures. Musical instruments of the brass or string families. I love sunshine and pretty days in the park with a good book. And coffee. (I am pregnant and my baby hates coffee, therefore I am taking a coffee sabbatical.) I adore coffee. My vices are smoking a tobacco pipe, a neat shot of scotch or whisky/ey, and laundry. The former are up for debate as vices. Laundry is just plain evil.

I’ve been a marriage and family therapist for 7ish years. I specialize in intimacy, also known as sex therapy. In general conversation I probably say too many things that make the average person blush. My family of origin is pretty fabulous and we are waaay into each other’s business. I have a husband whom I adore and am surprisingly grateful for how marriage has changed my life so far. Getting married in your 30s is pretty great. I’m also now a mother to the cutest wee little babe.
